Matt Shields is a dedicated mortgage professional with over seven years of experience helping families navigate homeownership. He attended Ohio State University, studying Consumer and Family Financial Services, before deciding to go full-time into the mortgage business. Matt also completed advanced training in Mortgage Lending at the Hondros College of Business.

A top 1% originator nationally, Matt leads the Shields Mortgage Team with a mission to make lending clear, fast, and stress-free. He is also the head of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers Young Professionals Group, where he mentors and advocates for the next generation of mortgage leaders. Known for his hands-on guidance and strong communication, Matt’s passion for education and industry innovation makes him a powerful voice in today’s mortgage landscape.
